Capital preservation is the primary operating constraint. Exposure is managed through defined risk parameters and evolving market conditions. When conditions no longer support a trading thesis, exposure is reduced or the position is exited. 

Barrera Capital operates as a private proprietary trading operation using its own capital. Current operations focus on live futures execution, proprietary market research, and systematic analysis. No outside client capital is accepted.

Barrera Capital conducts its proprietary futures operations through an established Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with roots in the Chicago futures industry dating to 1956.

Barrera Capital maintains internal trading and performance records for proprietary analysis and operational review. As the firm evolves, it intends to align its performance reporting with applicable standards and pursue independent verification when appropriate.
